Fractal - Unboxing and Production Update

We received the samples of all the products in each language, and we wanted to give you an update.

The new sample was a bit of an additional step since we already had a sample before (that we shared pictures of with you in a previous update). However, we made a few adjustments since, and we wanted to make sure that everything was perfect, so we requested another sample. We like to sleep well at night knowing that everything is in order!

Having physical samples is fantastic because it allows us to take a break from staring at the computer screen and examine the components right on the table. It’s a refreshing change of pace! Although the boards in sample don’t have coating protection and may have some marks and scratches, and they are a bit wobbly, we’re still very pleased with the overall result and the quality is impressive!

This time-lapse unboxing video of Fractal beautifully demonstrates how all the components fit perfectly into the inserts, and guess what? The sleeves fit just as wonderfully too!

You’ll be happy to know that the inserts work perfectly with sleeves! In addition, the compartments are compatible with the exclusive components such as the acrylic tokens and metal first player token, as well as the metal coins add-on. We can’t wait for you to try it out for yourself!

All of the components fit together perfectly, but we want to make a couple of additional changes for your comfort and our peace of mind. We’ll be increasing the size of a small compartment in the core insert that contains the action markers by 1mm, and we’ll also be adjusting the compartment for the Automata inserts so that each faction is presented with their front. These changes will ensure that everything is just right!

And while reviewing the components, we also spotted a couple of minor issues. They won’t affect gameplay or be noticeable to you, but we want to make sure that everything is perfect, so we’ll fix them. We want to make sure that you receive the best possible product!

After these adjustments are completed, we will begin production. We anticipate that this may delay the timeline by a week, but we believe that it would be foolish not to make these changes at this stage. We want to ensure that the final product is of the highest quality possible, and we appreciate your patience and understanding!
