The Second Edition playmat (on the left) has been updated to match the new visual style — with slightly brighter colors and refined graphic details.
In terms of layout, the First Edition playmat (on the right) remains 100% compatible: all components share the same size and placement. The only layout difference concerns the mini cards (44×67 mm) — the new Corruption Fate decks add a fourth mini-card deck. For that reason, their position on the mat has been switched with the Allies deck.

If you already own the First Edition playmat, there’s no need to upgrade unless you’d like the refreshed look to match the new edition’s style.
